A multiple shooting occurred that’s bad timing, ironic, and very sad. National Gun Appreciation Day weekend closes with five people dead. The weapon of choice appears to be another AR-15 or derivative thereof.
A 15-year-old boy remains in custody as detectives try to piece together what led to the shooting of five people, including three young children, who were found dead in a New Mexico home.

Five people killed in a weekend shooting at an Albuquerque home included a volunteer fire chaplain and three “very young children,” officials said Sunday. A 15-year-old family member was arrested and charged with the slayings.
“Multiple weapons were apparently used, including one assault rifle,” Bernalillo County Sheriff Dan Houston told reporters in a televised news conference.
