Chin Na Master Wong Style (and other thoughts)

Resemblance to blog owner coincidental

So I have returned (more or less).  Will you see a revival of the weekly martial arts news?  Maybe more of my overly-long posts on martial arts topics that only I care about?  More shilling of products?

Doubtful.

I’m as busy as Steven Seagal at an all-you-can-eat buffet.  Lots of variables that I cannot control:

  • Will we find a house to rent?
  • Will Mrs. Patterson find a job?
  • How long before the house we leave behind actually sells?
  • Just how busy will I be as Supreme Leader?
  • Will I actually rent Broke Back Mountain?

I just cannot say.  What I can promise is that the bar here at Striking Thoughts will probably get lower.  I know, I know!  ”Lower?” you say.

Yes.  Lower.

If anyone can do it I know I can.

I have a very loose target date of January 2013 for my return to martial arts.  That is, unless the world ends on December 21st, 2012.  So until January God only knows what will spew forth.  Most likely lots of gas.

Related: It’s been almost a year since I’ve checked in on our friend Master Wong.  A quick perusal of his new videos reveals that he has a series on Tai Chi Chin Na.  Since I have fond memories of the time I spent studying Chin Na, and Master Wong, I think I’ll feature these from time to time.

So, without further adieu:
