We can do better… right?

Michele Bachmann — she makes me think of something Staff Sergent P. would always say.

“Patterson, that’s dumb as a bag of hammers.”

Yeah right. Let’s pay the blue-collar folks 65 cents an hour. That will work. Especially after the Tea Party builds their Berlin Wall to protect us from the migrant workers in Mexico who do all our crap jobs. I’m starting to wonder if the Republicans have some sort of secret camp that creates these nimrods?

“He who warned, uh, the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin’ sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed.” –Sarah Palin, botching the history of Paul Revere’s midnight ride, June 3, 2011

And lest you think I’m a left-wing windbag I have to be honest and state that I came darn close to supporting John McCain. Whether it’s a Republican or Democrat, I want our President to least be as smart as I am.

Seriously.

For her sake lets just hope she doesn’t run her car engine in the garage with the door closed!

Yeehaw!

“I don’t think the federal government has a role in your children’s education.” –Rick Perry, at a campaign stop in Iowa, August 15, 2011

  1. Running the car with the door closed puts you at risk from carbon monoxide, not carbon dioxide. Just for clarification.

  2. Dr. M.

Thanks for that correction! Let me restate: Let us hope that Bachmann avoids such activities like scuba diving. Also, thanks for weighing in. There’s only one other Ph.D. who ever chimes in over here. Thanks for classing up the dump!

  3. That secret program is a series of unfunded education “reform” bills.

    Bobby,

After reading those other comments Bachmann made I don’t believe the type of gas matters. Personally I think it’s how the Republicans appeal to a certain segment of the voting public.

Is this an intentional strategy by the GOP to appeal to the anti-intellectual segment of the Republican party or is it just as good as it gets for the GOP in 2012?

We may be the dumb ones for helping them perpetuate their alleged stupidity!

And McCain? Bobby! You HAVE been hit in the head too many times!
